THE CAUSE OF FIGHTING IN THE CHURCH – T.B. JOSHUA

“We that are into the work of God – there are so many fights in the Church because we don’t understand ourselves. What is the cause of this? Because we don’t know the strength of the ministry. The strength of the ministry is not the crowd, the number of branches or people you have all over the world; the strength of the ministry is the Holy Spirit. There are many ministers of God that have five members and they are more anointed than some ministers of God who have the biggest crowds in the world.
“The problem we have is that we don’t know that fame and popularity does not mean you are the most anointed person. That your ministry is known all over the world does not mean you are the most anointed person in the world. The cause of fighting is that men of God believe the number of members they have or their fame and popularity is the strength of the ministry – whereas it is not the strength of the ministry.
“The moment we know this, no more fights! We are looking for members. Everyone is trying to have the largest church in the world; everyone is trying to have branches everywhere, to get large numbers and be known. This is the cause of fighting; we have disregarded the truth. If the church with the largest number of branches all over is the most anointed, why is The Synagogue only in Ikotun-Egbe and it’s known all over the world?
“We refuse to advertise our programs on any channel apart from Emmanuel TV. You cannot see our signboard anywhere all over the world. When you are coming here, you cannot see a signpost to tell you the direction to the Church. Think about that. We will never one day look for you if you don’t come to Church here. If you come today and we don’t see you again, nobody will want to know your house and begin to disturb you – ‘Why are you not coming to Church? You must come to Church.’ You don’t need to collect any letter from this ministry before you leave this ministry – because I never asked you for a letter before you came to this Church.”
